Hi, I’m Renate Nana Zhang.
I am a Master of Science student in Media and Human-Centered Computing at the TU Wien. Currently, I work as a research assistant at Aalto University in Helsinki, within the Computational Behavior Lab led by Antti Oulasvirta.
My research interests lie at the intersection of human-computer interaction, augmented reality, and
virtual reality.
I first explored these topics in my
bachelor’s thesis, where I investigated different locomotion techniques in VR, including walking, steering, and
teleportation.
I am now completing my master’s thesis,
“Immersive Real-Time Language Translator for Augmented Reality”, at the
Virtual and Augmented Reality Research Unit
of TU Wien.
